It has always been a story of a bunch of friends rocking it loud for the love of music…hardcore in specific.
The main part of BNB (Kris, Thomas, Steven) was already running a couple of years in the old school band Discordant, founded in 1993. After Stijn (bass) left, the other guys teamed up with DK (De Kimmeuh - vocals) who was already in a side project with Steven and Thomas named Brainstorm21. Filling the gap with Kristof on bass made the rat pack complete. Enter BruisednotBroken. We’re counting the year 1998.

During the years, we’ve recorded several DIY demo’s and rocked all around sharing stages with bands like Ensign, Nine, Victims of Society, Face Tomorrow, PN, Circle, Endstand, Hand to Hand, Malkovich, SinceByMan, TSU, Cornflames,…

We’ve even shared bills with fuckin’Clouseau and stages with Osdorp Posse and Pragha Khan! This happened because we won in two consecutive years these stage places on the prestigious :) Maanrockrally in Mechelen.

We’ve always been playing a hardcore style based on a NYHC and emocore mix. But it’s hard to label us since we tend to play what we like, spicing it up with emo, NY, punk, metal, postrock,… And we’re planning to keep rocking on for several years...just for the fun of it...
